Our Work

Our strategy is two-fold, with a localized and systemic approach. Through our localized approach, we co-develop place-based strategies that address the root causes of adverse social determinants of health in the South Valley. Simultaneously, we also take a systemic approach by co-developing a sustainable and accessible food system in New Mexico. By achieving these goals, we believe that we can foster sustainable communities, promote social justice, and address the unique challenges faced by underinvested individuals and families in the South Valley and the wider region.

South Valley Economic Development Center
